I have Bri Clarke to thank for the inspiration and the collaboration.

From December 2023 to June 2024, local dance artist, Bri Clarke, and I co-facilitated monthly Improv Dance Jams at St. John's West Toronto - a beloved west end community space that was forcibly closed in July of 2024. These sessions were open to the community, for people of all ages and abilities to spontaneously create together - through movement, music, props, and the open space. Often, we would have Jaro Czerwinec play some meditative and improvisational piano at the end of our sessions, which led to beautiful and unexpected moments like this.
